An OFM Primer on Fats & Oils
Below is a “cliff note” version of fats and oils in order to give the you the information needed to make the right choices. The goal is not perfection, however, by empowering yourself with knowledge you can set in motion the right choices and habits to minimize exposure to less than optimal fats and oils.
The three basics fats and oils are:
- Monounsaturated Fatty Acids (MUFA)
- Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA)
- Saturated Fatty Acids (SFA)
