OFM offers comprehensive guidance and support for whatever course pathway you choose for your OFM Metabolic Journey. By opting to work with an OFM Metabolic Coach/Guide you can accelerate the metabolic shift as well as dial in all facets of OFM, eliminating a lot of trial and error as well as time researching. Your OFM Metabolic Coach/Guide will work with you to problem solve in a real-time, real-world context to develop individualized solutions and methodologies which work in the context of your Life.
OFM Metabolic Coaching/Guidance begins with a comprehensive Intake Questionnaire (IQ) which is a snapshot, one-time assessment of your current metabolic state and life profile. From the IQ your assigned Coach/Guide will get a snapshot of YOU through gleaning basic information relevant to your:

- Current Metabolic Health Status (includes any recent bloodwork the client provides)
- Fitness
- Goals
- Challenges
- Cultural/Ethnic Background
- Current Dietary Patterns & openness to trying new foods and strategies
- Lifestyle
- Lifeload
- Emotional/Psychological profile
From the IQ review your Coach/Guide will make preliminary notes and schedule your onboarding video meeting to personally review the IQ, discuss any labs provided, ask questions, answer your questions then provide you with honest data and evidence based feedback on your current metabolic status as well as working with you on a plan to reach your goals. This will be followed up with initial individualized guidance, links to content in conjunction with using the OFM Program Metabolic Reset and Adaptation modules.
Because OFM is comprehensive and individualized this will include but is not limited to:
- Dietary advice in the context of the client’s current situation taking into account their current dietary preferences, schedule, cultural/ethnic dietary habits etc. using a whole/real food approach as much as possible.
- Based upon dietary intake and the IQ supplementation recommendations highly specific to you and your needs
- Address identified and unidentified challenges then recommending specific and appropriate therapies to them
- Identify environmental stressors and seek doable solutions to mitigate or, if possible, eliminate them
- Competent guidance to:
- Give the client the confidence to experiment with options and develop, through trial and error, solutions that work for them.
- Teach the client that they are their own N=1 experiment where their individual variables need to be factored into their ongoing experiment called Life
- Perfection is not the goal, because if one is truly open to positive change, getting things wrong is what leads to getting things right.
- The dynamic nature of their Life as opposed to the static and controlled ‘snapshots’ of health and performance ‘science’.
- Develop the “Intuitive Athlete” by using data and modern technology to corroborate the ‘experience’ instead of drive it building confidence and agency in the client’s psyche
- If requested on a longer term plan Coach/Guide can provide a training program based upon the OFM Disruptive Periodization Training Model for fat adapted athletes
- Pre-competition counseling/guidance & post-competition de-briefing
The goal is to create doable solutions in the context of the client’s life to facilitate habit change for sustainability. This is a hallmark of OFM which our athletes note. OFM simply becomes their own way of life.
Support ranges from a single IQ evaluation, video meeting and follow up suggestions to 2, 4, 6 & 12 month bundles based upon your needs. Naturally, monthly coaching cost diminishes the more months are chose.
